What is the story and what are the facts?

A recent conversation with a friend bought forward a very interesting piece of advice. If you think of the trials and tribulations that are innevitably part of life sometimes, have you ever asked yourself "What is the story? And what are the facts

?"

Sometimes taking the emotional attatchment we have to things away, we can then see the plain facts left behind. If I reflect on things that have happened in my life that I have had a bad emotional attatchement to and just approach it with "What is the story and what are the facts?" Stripping away the story I have created to the event, I would probably realise that I had turned it into something it wasn't and can potentially leave my negative connections towards it behind.

When im sitting at a sewing machine and the hours are flying by I often realise later that it was an experience similar to meditation. Once the workshop is all set up and we get back behind the sewing machines I plan to take this question with me and consider aspects of my life that I would like to lay to rest.

Take a moment to think about it.
